hello.

my name is not emily. it’s ruo lan. but i tell people to call me emily.

why? i’m not quite sure, either. 

i daydream a lot & i want to travel the world and see things, meet people. i adore cats so i’ll probably grow up to be an old, bitter cat lady. also, if i had a penny for every moment that i’ve utterly embarrassed myself in, i would probably be richer than bill gates. i seek equilibrium in everything and am very, very indecisive about most things. to me, there is no black and white; all that exists is a hue in between.

some days i wish i could just wear a sign around my neck that shows everyone who i am. show, because i am the type of person words fail to describe, and because i regularly behave in a silly manner that makes me hate myself. and yes, i do despise many parts of myself.
